I chose to make my first post the topographic map because so far it has been one of my favorite one's that we have studied. This is a topographic map of a camp site. It is showing through the contour lines that it is a relativevly flat area, perfect for camping mostly around where the lake it located! This is the point they are trying to get accross so that people know this is good area if someone wants to set up a camp site. It gives a good reference of the elevation over on the right hand side by the 3095 marker. The elevation reads at 10,155 feet. My favotire thing about his map is where it shows the difference in elevation between 11600 to 10400. This is quite a difference and would be amazing to see!
